There are only three people in this world who know the Eddie Murray story... Gigi, myself and Eddie Murray . Oh yeah, and all those people that didn't believe us! Long story short- Gigi and I went to Memorial Stadium when seats were cheap and you could sit in the bleachers with your keg as long as you bought it a seat! Sometimes there were more of us like Georgia and Tommy Augie ( who by the way are all in heaven planning to go to an O's game right now I am sure) . Anyhow, as Gigi and I were leaving the stadium we spotted Eddie Murray in the car next to us. We decided to follow him so I could get the autograph of the infamous, very recluse slugger! Finally, we caught him at a red light at Moravia Rd. and Belair Rd. I jumped out, ran up to his car and asked for his autograph. I forgot about the fact that I had no pen or paper. He sat through the light several times digging in his glove compartment for a pen and wrote his name the entire length of my arm! He also said,"I don't know why I am doing this, you are just going to wipe it off tomorrow"! Of course when we got back to the bar no one believed us or the signature on my arm! What a treasured memory. We just talked about this and many other memories of old friends and good times several weeks ago. . Although I am not much of an O's fan anymore (another long story, and yes Gigi was there) I will always treasure that night as well as the other good times we had. Your memory makes me smile. I will miss you Gigi.

My dear friend,
close your eyes...
hold my hand,
and hear me whisper...
I will always miss you...I have so many memories to hold on to...you are an angel now, you are in God's peace...
Dear Ms Joyce, Scott, Neil & Brad, I pray for comfort in your lives, & love to sustain you. The memories of Gigi will always live on in your hearts, always bring a tear and always bring a smile of how funny he was, how creative & talented he was, and the kindred spirit and laugh he had!! I pray God carries you through each day, Love always, Melissa

Friday, April 15, 2016: This morning I sat in bed and while listening to the birds singing said a prayer for Gigi and all of the Richardsons. Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences for the loss of Gigi. Gigi was a part of our family. He came to my Uncle Stephen's Memorial Service two years ago and to my father's wake in January. Gigi carried with him a strong sense of community which is rare these days. I enjoyed that whenever I saw Gigi, which was infrequently, we could pick up as if we had seen each other just yesterday. Gigi had a great sense of humor and we would often joke around in a self-deprecating manner developed living next door to each other on Biddison Lane. I recall that Brad had the same sense of humor. I will always remember Gigi and the friendship he extended to our family. Peace be with you during this very difficult time. Paul Kiefner, Groton, Massachusetts.

To the Richardson family: Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of Gigi. Gigi was always a friend to our family and carried with him a great sense of community. I could always pick up where I left off with Gigi and we shared a sense of humor that must have originated from growing up on Biddison Lane. Gigi came to my Uncle Stephen's and to my father's funeral services showing his utmost respect which he so clearly now deserves. I remember him in the best light, illuminated by the rising sun on a Maryland summer morning with the good memories lingering from cracking jokes and being self-deprecating as we were. Fair winds and following seas to you Gigi and love forever. Paul Kiefner
