On June 15, 2015, George Shaeer; cherished husband of the late Thelma Varon Shaeer; loving father of Richard Shaeer, Ivy Shaeer (David Cox), and Susan April Shaeer; devoted grandfather of Michael (Nicole) Cox and Brandon Cox. Funeral services and interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery - Arlington, VA on Wednesday, July 1, at 9 am. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project, 1120 G Street NW, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20005 or Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 200 East Joppa Road, Suite 407, Towson, MD 21286. The family will be receiving at 214 McNair Road, Bldg. 407 (Spates Community Club), Fort Myer, VA 22211.
