Growing up in Rosedale was a great experience. We played all kinds of sports..you name and we played it. Mr. George was mainly responsible for that. He loved competition and he instilled that competitive nature inj all the guys in the neighborhood. He was not only Mr. George, but a coach, mentor, and friend. Thoughts and prayers go out to George, Sandy and their families.

I have many childhood memories of Uncle George. He and Aunt Betty would play cards with my grandparents and laugh by the hour. When he and my grandfather got together, you were guaranteed a good time. Uncle George was always quick with a smile, a kind word, and he told the best stories!

My thoughts and prayers are with all the Slembeckers and Ebsworths. I really wish I could be there with you to celebrate Uncle George's life. And to Sandy P, you added a lot of happiness and joy in his later years. My thoughts are with you also.

Rest in peace, Uncle George. You'll be missed.

My wife and I have been George's next door neighbor for over 21 years and we couldn't have asked for a better neighbor. I've had many a great conversation with George over the years and he loved to tell a good joke. He was a talented carpenter/handyman and volunteered to help lay the foundation for our shed when we moved to Fallston in the mid 90's. He was so proud of his grandchildren's accomplishments (which are many). It's apparent he loved family more than life itself.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to George's family.
Rest in peace George, we will sorely miss you my friend.
