Dear BJ,

I was saddened to read of George's untimely death. He was ever what we lesser mortals simply refer to as, and strive to be: A "great guy". His infectious laugh will be sorely missed, and our prayers will be with you and your beautiful family.

George Litz personified the best in a man. It is great men like him that make our world a better place. He will be missed greatly by those who knew him close and from afar. Those who were lucky enough to know him will never forget him. Those who never met him lost the chance to meet a great man.

My heart goes out to his family and friends. Know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

BJ and Family,

Kim and I want to express our deepest sympathies on George's passing. It was great visiting with both of you last summer and recalling the great times in the brick business. George was an incredible person ... You are in our thoughts and prayers!

I will always remember George as a man of dignity, honor, and integrity. His smile was infectious. His persona larger than life. I will be forever grateful to George for the kindness he showed our son Zachary in his time of need. The last time I saw him, in September, I was so touched by his amazing outlook. He laughed about what had happened to his hair as a result of the chemo. But what struck me the most was how he spoke about BJ, calling her the best wife a man could ask for.
Please accept our sympathies for your loss as well as our gratitude for having the privilege of knowing him.

George's glass ws always half full, he loved life and was a kind man, devoted o his family. It is a fitting tribute to George that every brick in both of our stadiums came from him. We will miss him and his smile very much.
