Rick thank you for all you did for not only SLU and SLU basketball but for all of college basketball. What always impressed me more than how much you won was your love and care for for your players. You will be sorely missed.

All I can say is I met him once at a local restaurant in stl and he couldn't have been a nicer kinder man, all I wanted to do was say hi and congrats to him on slu's success last year and it ended up being a half hour conversation, like he had known me for years, I'll never forget it. He was a great man for the city of stl and will be truly missed, rest in peace coach and god bless you
