Joe was a wonderful man who I always enjoyed talking with when we saw each other. He was thoughtful, interested, and inspired respect. My condolences to his friends and family.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring. Thank you Joseph for your service, prayers to your family

I knew Joe through my sister Susan. Though I relocated to California many years ago, We spent a fair amount of time together at family gatherings over the years. I was always glad to know that Susan had Joe in her life and I know that they cared a great deal for each other. I was always impressed with how Joe dealt with his physical condition with such grace and humor and how he continued, with Susan's help, to make strides toward a better future. I don't know many who had that kind of strength.
He always had a smile, a joke and a sports story. In many ways, and through the inevitable ups and downs of life, he was an inspiration.
