I met Joe in 1988 when I joined the Baltimore Duffers. My first round of golf with the club was with him. We played together for over 15 years. I went on numerous golf trips with him to North Carolina as was fortunate to be his guest on a golf trip to Disney World in Florida. We roomed together there and it was a fabulous time. He was an honest man, a stand-up guy, and a great friend. His friendship meant a lot to me and I'll miss him greatly.

Joe and I were friends for 66 years having met Joe at Poly. I remember him playing varsity basketball. We used to "hang out" in Walbrook bowling center, going to the movies and the Arundle for ice cream; he loved ice cream. My wife, Brenda, and I went many places with Joe and Dale over the years and spent many hours playing cards. Joe was a "planner-in-chief" of vacations the four of us spent together: and we all enjoyed watching each others families grow up to be fine young people. Joe was an avid golfer and he and I enjoyed many rounds together..These fun times will be remembered forever, and he will be greatly missed.
