Kath, I think of you and talk to you and ask you for advice every day. I know you are sitting on my shoulder and guiding me through old, old, old age. I also know how proud you are of Michael as he becomes an adult. Oh, and about Rosie and Lucy...I am trying to take good care of your spoiled little beagles as best I can. Every time I pick up something that you have given me, I shed a tear.

I will love you always, Mom

The world lost an amazing woman. A true friend. Her care and love for children is one of my fondest memories. No matter her struggles she always smiled and put on such a brave face. She inspired many. Michael, you were the apple of her eye! My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will cherish my memories and hold them close to my heart. We were blessed to have known her.

It was with the utmost sadness that I read of Kathy's passing. She brightened many days at Medfield for both staff and students. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I am so sorry for your loss. As I reflect on my long career in education, I believe I did my best when I was partnered with Kath at Medfield Heights Elementary in Baltimore City. She brought warmth, compassion, skill, and great patience to our students who were having their first school experiences. She was gifted teacher.
