My dear friend Marc Witman, on October 8, 2016, passed after fighting pancreatic cancer for nearly two years. I have lost my brother, or a man that I could have only seen as one. We have lost someone remarkable, someone special, someone who without much effort would embrace us as a friend first, and only a foe if it were an extreme. I, like many others, can share countless thoughts and memories of Marc, but what I will miss the most are the memories that he and I can no longer create and share. Each evening, as I see the first star that appears in the sky, I will know that that star will be Marc looking upon us with his warm beautiful smile, and loving heart. My Brother.
