I was saddened to learn that that an old friend of mine passed away 2 years ago and it was not until last eve I was informed as such.I am not sure that I could have graduated med school at the U of Ghent without the close friendship of Marvin Elayne and snowflake We both did our internships in Philly where our friendship continued to grow. Even though it has been many years since I have seen Marvin I will never forget the incredible influence he had on my life and career.

I got my first job as a medical secretary at Dr. Mordes' office in 1986 on Osler Drive in Towson. I was 18 years old, and he gave me my start in the medical field, and all these years later, I am still working in the medical field. He was always pleasant and joking. I also used to dog sit his beloved Yorkie, even taking her to the office with me. My condolences to the family.

I am a member of Pap at Wycliffe Country Club, and we were fortunate enough to meet with Elayne and Marvin last year at Whitespace. We had a wonderful day enjoying their art collecrtion and their warm hospitality. We were very saddened to hear of Marvin's untimely passing. We would like to offer our condolences to Elayne and the Mordes family.

I was lucky to have worked with Dr. Mordes, as his nurse at The Cleveland Clinic. He was my boss, mentor, and most importantly, my friend. I miss him terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family.
