Sandra Dee Raby, age 54, of Birchwood, WI died Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, WI. She was born on September 4, 1960 in Baltimore, MD to John and Gladys (Witts) Molter. After graduating from High School she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Towson State University. She worked for General Motors for 15 years, owned a construction company renovating homes in Baltimore and then relocated to Birchwood after her early retirement. Sandra was married to Thomas Raby on July 15, 2000 in Birchwood. She was the Financial Service Manager for Rice Lake Weighing Systems for many years. Sandra was passionate about natural resources and protecting them for the future. Sandra Dee Raby is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, John & Shirley Molter Jr. of Maryland; a special companion, Lee Bube of Hoffman Estates, IL; and many friends that cared for her and adored her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Raby; and her parents, John and Gladys Molter. A Celebration of her Life will be held at her home at 2651 N. East Shore Drive, Birchwood, WI on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 1 - 5 PM. In Lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated and those donations will be given to a special memorial to honor Sandy. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Appleyard's Home for Funerals, 19 W. Messenger St., Rice Lake, WI.
