Tim, you are in our prayers, our hearts & in our thoughts. Pumpkin, Chris, Danny & I will continue our prayers for you...just like you asked. There is an ache in our hearts for you but we will see you again when we go home to our Lord. We hold love in our hearts for you. Moe, Chris, Michelle & Danny

Tim once told me that he considered the most important part of his job as captain of the SeaLand Consumer was morale officer. He said that once it was determined that everyone knew their responsibilities, they would do their jobs best if they were happiest. He did his best to keep us happy. I particularly remember the candy bowl he brought up to the bridge and personally filled it every morning. Keep up the good work Tim! You have new and old crew mates to keep happy now. God bless. Steve Meyers ex Second Mate, SS SeaLand Consumer

I would say "rest in peace" but you will be with my dad so I'm sure the party is legendary. You will be missed

I was so sad to hear of Tim's passing. Known to the Thompson family kids as Uncle Tim or "The Bear" he is loved as family and his presence will be sorely missed. A dear friend to our father, Captain Bob Thompson, we are sure that he and former MMP running mate Gerry Johnson are holding a great meeting in heaven. Tim was an asset to the Merchant Mariners and their families and an advocate for those who sail. He will be remembered always as a loving and caring soul who touched the lives of so many. Rest in peace Tim, you are in our prayers as is you family who have lost a precious gift. With love Liz Brown (Thompson)
