I read the recent Biography "Stan the Man".it's an excellent book.although I never got to meet Stan Musial or his wife,Lil.
they come across as just really great ordinary people.After reading this book,
and being at a Cardinals Game several years ago in which Mr.Musial rode out on a golf cart ,& remembering his waving to the fans,he & his entire family sound like a truly class act.I'm very sorry for Mr.Musial & his Family's loss,of his wife
Lil.
