Thomas (Tom) Hamilton Aaron, age 82, of Winder, died Friday, May 10, 2013.
Son of the late Upson Pope Aaron and the late Beulah Bone Aaron, he was employed by Empire Manufacturing, where he worked for 38 years and Barrow Manufacturing for 10 years. In addition to his parents, his wife, Margaret B. Aaron, preceded him in death.
He is survived by: his son, Rev. Tim (Jane) Aaron of Winder; two brothers, Chandler Aaron and Uveal Aaron; four grandchildren, Sarah, Daniel, Rachel, and Rebekah; and one great grandson, Oliver.
Visitation will be from 6 – 9 p.m. on Monday, May 13 at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14 at Morningside Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Aaron officiating. Burial will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
