I was so sorry to learn of the sudden death of your beloved husband and father. George, I think I met you at your Bar Mitzphah. I first met Dr. Blumberg in 1967 when he hired me knowing I could be a "possible" source for international blood samples as a Medical Mission Sister. He was right. I collected and sent back to Philadelphia serum samples from the cord blood of mothers in New Delhi, India. Another hypothesis....does the antigen cross from mother to baby? I loved his staff lunch meetings with hoagies and hypothesis.
I will always remember his kindness and compassion toward me. His work for our world is everlasting.
I wish each of you during this time of your deep sorrow and sadness and in the days ahead-- all the Love your hearts can hold.
