LuAlice was one of the sweetest people I knew at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. She always had a smile on her face when she greeted me and seemed to be a very kind individual. She will be missed by many.

I was very sorry to hear about LuAlice. She was a very nice person and I always enjoyed visiting with her at church. She was extremely faithful in her attendance. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Saddened to learn of LuAlice's passing. We worked together at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation for a few years (she in Archives & me in the LIbrary) and we enjoyed chatting and sharing about our work. After leaving the Foundation, I often saw LuAlice at Friend's Church where my parents attend. She will be missed!

I was sad to hear of the passing of LuAlice, and I offer my deepest condolences to her family.
Although I was 8 years younger than LuAlice, I had brothers and sisters closer to her age. Therefore she was almost like an older sibling than a neighbor. I have fond memories of the old neighborhood and LuAlice. Many summer days were spent sidewalk roller skating, riding bikes and scooters and other childhood activities that seem to have vanished with the decades.
I can remember the times when young LuAlice would visit her parents house with her husband and young boys. She would have them all dressed up in baseball uniforms, as they pretended to be Al Kaline or other players in the Tiger line-up. She was a great mother.
After high school I lost track of LuAlice, but was able to reconnect with her a couple of years ago when my brother passed away and she came to the family gathering. I was glad to see she was still the happy outgoing person I remembered from my childhood.
May she rest in peace.
