Mary Sue & all of Arthur David's family and friends. May the words of this poem bring you comfort.
***All is Well***
"Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I, and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other, that we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me and if you want to, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was,
Let it be spoken without effect,
Without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was;
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you,
For an interval,
Somewhere very near,
Just around the corner.
All is well."

This loss will most certainly leave a void in many hearts and I'm so very sorry. Watching an MU/KU game will have a whole new meaning for me now. Thank you for sharing Uncle Art and Ray with me. Two men who are very dear to me.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Anton family. He was such a wonderful person and physician. I was blessed to know him during my years at St. John Hospital and for that I am grateful.

Dr Anton was a giant of a man to the kids on Clovernook. He was kind and smart and knew how to "make it better." He's been a tremendous role model to me, and I've always felt like he took a special pride - and had a certain level of high expectations - in what I do as if I were one of his kids. He was loved, and he will be missed.
