Dear Dick, Sue, Judy, and Gordon,
We were sorry to learn that Uncle Arnold has passed, but rejoice with you that he is now in heaven, where he is viewing our Savior face-to-face and has been reunited with Aunt Eleonore. No more pain, no more sorrow. We had many fun summers with you and your folks as well as visits throughout the years. They always made everyone feel welcome in Bay City and, as kids, we loved to travel there to see you. Uncle Arnold had one of the first computers we had ever seen back then - we were simply amazed at what he could do with it. I am sure he will be greatly missed and we pray that the Lord will comfort your hearts and grant you strength. The picture was taken in 1987, when Karl and I were home on furlough from Africa. We are now in Cuenca, Ecuador.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to you and the family. I'm so sorry that I will not be able to attend but will keep you in my prayers.

Dear Judy, Gordon, Dick, Sue, and the rest of the family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. We remember Uncle Arnold as one of the nicest men we have known. We wish we could be with you at the funeral, but we can't. I hope it helps to know that we will be thinking of you all. I'm putting a photo in of my mom, and Aunt Eleonore and Uncle Arnold. It was taken June 5, 2012, at the Currey home in Bay City.

Take care, travel safely, and may God bless you all.

Love, Sue.
