My husband and I feel so blessed we were able to share in our hearts wonderful memories and times spent with Augie. To me he was my very own Jimmy Buffet, but better. He had an amazing talent for playing his acoustic guitar & love to sing to us. My favorite times with him were at Steve & Shell's poolside, while Augie entertained us all as if we were on the beach drinking our margaritas listening to him serenade us playing Margaritaville!! He had an amazing smile and a voice that could melt your heart. He will be deeply missed. Evertime i feel the sun hit my face and look out into a huge body of aqua blue waters I will hear him singing to me. Joyce, Holly, Steve, Shell and all the grandkids always know our thoughts & hearts are with you all. He'll always be by your sides walking with you

I have so many wonderful memories of spending summers at your house, Joyce, Holly, and Shelly. Your husband/dad was quiet but always knew when and what to say. He had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful foster dad to me. With my deepest sympathy, love, Andrea

My most sincere condolences for your loss of a father, husband, grandfather and more. He was a very kind man and someone that I have always remembered for the assistance he gave me at work. The retirees that worked at Bay City Chevy distributed the notice and I am grateful for that. May you lean on God Almighty during these hardest of times.

Dear Joyce, Shelly, Holly and family. What fond, fond memories I have of Augie and your family at TNT campouts. Music, fun, and laughter was what I always looked forward to on those weekends. They were the best. Everyone knew that if Augie was there, the guitar was not far away. Neil Diamond would be proud! He had a gift that touched so many of us...and we are blessed for it. Thanks for sharing him with us!
