Sue, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Cliff while he lived in Grand Rapids. I have many wonderful memories. One of them was that of seeing him sitting at the end of the hall waiting for me to come into work. A true gentlemen. I will miss him

Sue and Cindy,

Our whole family sends our sympathy to you upon the passing of a great man, your father. My father, Alex, mother, Mary and sister, Lexie were your dad and mothers next door neighbors for many years in Essexville. My dad and I talk every Sunday night since I am in North Carolina. About three weeks ago we were talking about the great neighbors they had and he wondered how Cliff was doing. I told my dad that I would try and get in touch with Cliff. I got through to your dad and talked to him for about 15 minutes. He was so glad to hear Alex was still going strong and he was very happy to know dad was still thinking about him. My Dad also graduated from Bay City Central in 1935 and is currently 97 and will have his next birthday June 13. Your dad and mother were great people and always fun to be around. My older brother, Roger and I had moved out before my parents moved to Essexville but we saw your parents a lot when we were there.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Sue and Cindy,
I am so sorry to hear of your dads passing. I remember both of your parents so fondly from the Smear Club days. My mom loved her chats with your dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.
