Fred will always have a special place in our hearts. We would travel together each year in our younger family days to the U.P. kids would swim, enjoy meals cooked (hobo pies) on an open fire. Always taking a day trip to the beautiful lakes of Michigan and breath taking views. We have lived in Ohio for over 34 years but still found time to meet up as couples at Niagara Falls and Disney World in Fla. always having a great time together. He always came down to visit my dad here in Medina during the 6 1/2 years he lived here. Always making a stop at Krysiak 's for the "duck soup" one of my dads favorites. I will be forever grateful to Fred who was with my mother when she died unexpectedly at Bay Medical Hospital in 1999. He made our daughters beautiful wedding cake and put the final touches on it in the hotel room of the reception. This was not an easy feat since we live 300 miles away. He was creative, caring, loving, and accepting of everyone in his life. He loved his beef sticks from Costco and special "k" red berry cereal bar for a nightime snack. We surprised him with a visit last summer and spent hours reminiscing. Fred was truly a "cup is half full " person who would put a positive spin on everyday life, he loved the caregivers at Bay Medical like his family. He appreciated anything anyone did for him. He certainly was a "man for others"!
Give my sister (aunt) Joanne a hug from us! When I see the beautiful cardinals in my back yard I know she is near ❤ Now I will be looking for two of them Mary Ann & Dave Michalsky

Dear Klass family: Your Dad was one special "gentle" man. He will be remember for his laughter and his extreme kindness. When my Mom was alive, he kept an eye out for her as a very wonderful neighbor and nephew. Keep singing, Fred. Your Polish relatives will keep listening for your angelic voice here on earth and with our Heavenly Father. Rest in peace, cousin.

Our thoughts, prayers and sympathy to Fred's sisters, brother, children and their families on his passing. When Mike and I we were married Fred sang at our wedding Mass. His voice was so beautiful. He certainly put so much feeling of love and joy into such a wonderful day. We will always be grateful. Rest in peace, Fred.

We've been in Indiana almost 30 years but before that we had a lot of good times together. Playing pinochle, going to Toronto, all those costume parties (we'll never forget his Hawaiian "get up" or him dressing like a ballerina), Christmas visits. And he was SUCH a great SANTA!
Rest in peace, Freddie -- say "hi" to Ma and Dad and Busia and Dziadzia for us!
And our deepest sympathy to all his kids and siblings.
Your cousin, Ed (and Patt)

Fred was the sweetest guy. My mother and him always ate together at BMCF until she passed. I used to bring him jewelry to give to his nurses. He loved them and they dearly loved him. My mom and dad Hung out with the Klasses. Art and Gen Klass. WE used to talk about our families. RIP dear friend.

Fred, Rest in peace. I remember taking turns riding together with Mark Doupance to the good old Gear for several years. You were always in a good mood and happy. I'm sure that was why you were so good helping Santa.

Fred sold us the property that we built our home on 21 years ago. On that land we raised our family and often talked about how it would never had happened if Fred didn't suggest that we go to Freeland to look at homes. Thank you sir! I'll miss you Fred!

My dear brother left this world after years of bearing the pain of being incapacitated from a severe stroke. Through all these years he accepted the hand he was dealt with grace never complaining and always thanking God for his happy life and wonderful family. He was my hero and rock. I will always be thankful for his advice and counseling he offered me upon my husband's passing. He was a caring soul who always put others first. Rest in peace until we meet again Your loving sis Marianne (and family).xM99g
