I am so sorry to hear of Whiteys passing. I have many fond memories of times spent at the Naessens home. I remember our Mothers trying to figure out where our Dads were only to find the tractors pulled over on the fence line discussing whether the crops were going to be good this year. I will never forget the last visit that Dad and Whitey had when we visited Meadowview. They were so happy to see each other, it was very touching. May God bring you all peace in knowing that your Mom & Dad are together again.

Deepest sympathy to "Whitey's" family. I spent a lot of time at their home growing up and have many fond memories of those times & the family. It seemed there was always something to do,and lots of laughter. May it bring you comfort that your Dad is now with your Mom in Heaven.

I remember Frank and Irene from long ago when we had Smolka's Polkas on the radio in Owosso, they used to listen to us every week.. The always told us how much the enjoyed our program, they also like to go to Polka dances in the area. Sorry to hear they are no longer with us but the will be together again.

On our last visit to the nursing home, Frank wanted us to take him so he could "Dance with Irene"...now he surely can dance with Irene...So we believe he was at peace and ready to venture onward.
He truely loved his family and the farm, always worried who was taking care of things, he even, when able, rode in the combine as we harvested, not getting out until the field was done. He would just grin from ear to ear as he went back and forth in the combine, how glad we are to have been able to share those moments with him. Will miss him and his interest in the farm.
