I love my Grandma!

I had Mrs. Murray at MacGregor, and she was so sweet to me when I had to stay after school to catch up on schoolwork when I would miss school because of illness. She made me feel special. Thank you!

Mrs Muray was a teacher of mine at Kolb many years ago. I have great memories of her class. Fantastic teacher! My condolences to her family. Thank you Mrs Muray.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Murray. She was without a doubt the best teacher I've ever had (4th gr at McAlear Sawden)! She had a natural way with children and strived to bring out the best in them. She was so enthusiastic and made learning a blast! I have books I read now to my own children that remind me of her. My sympathies to those who loved her. I have no doubt she came from a wonderful family.

To Milton and your family, please know that my daughter's FAVORITE grade school teacher was Jean. Our family had just moved from the east to the west side of Bay City. Jean was instrumental in my daughter making a new friend. To this day, the girls are still very close, they are now in their 30's. I remember how often my daughter would come home from school and tell my husband and I all about what Mrs. Murray and the kids did that day in Jean's classroom. Jean really had a way with her kids. I had the privilege of visiting Mrs. Murray's class a couple of times when my daughter had Jean as her teacher. I saw first-hand why she was so excited about this teacher. I could see the genuine love and concern Jean had for her kids, and the kids just adored her. All parents hope their children get good teachers. Jean, you were exceptionally good.
