Mr. Ringle!! One of my favorite teachers...right up there with Mr. White and Ron "Huggy Bear" Hughes!! I remember when he retired and I stopped by to say goodbye and gave him a little gift and he sent me away with tears in his eyes. Most people rejoice when they retire, not Mr. Ringle, he left with a heavy heart ... leaving behind all his "friends." To this day, I still tell the story about how he used to get the students' attention when we were not listening to him ...he did it very quietly as he stood at his podium ... he used one finger ... it worked EVERY time! A world has lost another great soul ... tell Mr. White and Huggy Bear I said hello!!
