Mary Beth and Russ, my sympathy on your loss. Louie was a good friend to Mom & Dad and only about 6 years ago he went up in the attic at Mom's house to check for a water leak. He's the first one she thought to call for assistance. Many good memories.

I was so saddened to learn of Louie's passing. I had never known I had a half-brother till later in life and so many years had lapsed without taking the much needed steps to reach out to him. On a recent trip to Michigan, I had made up my mind too many years had passed and I wanted to know more about my half-brother. I finally met him and we had a wonderful time together. We both shared tears from the years that had passed and reflected on our childhoods. My only regret is that I did not reach out to Louie sooner but I will cherish that moment God brought us together and joined our hearts. May you rest in peace and live in the eternal presence of our Lord.
