I am so very sorry to hear that Marnie had passed on. My deepest sympathy. :-(
October 19, 2003
To Pat, Al, and Bill: Thank you for raising such a beautifully spirited daughter that taught me more than I could have ever thought possible!
Thank you for sharing her with the rest of us!

To her sisters Mindy and Mikkie: She fought with you, loved you, treasured you, and you will have those memories forever. She couldn't have asked for better sisters - and you meant the world to her.

To Kim, Marnie's sister of the heart: You were an incredibly important part of her life. You were the best of friends and she always told me about the things you two did. She called me while you were expecting Hunter and kept me up to date- in her mind, the events were surely as important to me as they were to her! (They were!)Thank you for being a wonderful friend to her.

To her Nieces and Nephew: Remember, your Aunt Marnie loved you! She was so proud of you, and I know she wants you to continue to make her proud. She didn't always fly straight, but she always made the most out of each day. I hope you will too. Enjoy your time on Earth- she has proved to you how precious it is. She left you many gifts- love, respect of family, caring and compassion for people with less ability than you have, and laughter. Always remember the laughter.

To my son- Thank you for choosing Marnie to be in your life. I would have liked for you to have 75 years together, but always remember that 4 good ones are better than 100 bad ones! You made each other happy, and created a beautiful son that will light your life in dark times. Remember always that you are loved.

To My Max-worth-a-Million: You are, you know. Heck, in times of inflation, let's make that a hundred million! You are loved by so many people and all of us are eternally grateful that you are in our lives. Always know, that wherever you turn, you have family and friends that you can reach out to and will love you unconditionally. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends. You are blessed with a large loving circle around you. Your mommy loved you too. And I know, that as one of God's Angels, she will watch over you and help you in times ahead. Make her proud!

Pat, Al and family,
I have just learned of your loss. I am so sorry. Marnie had a wonderful loving family by her side.

Weep Not (by Norma Wise)

I would not have you weep for me,
Think of the joy I've known!
Not one of us is here to stay,
We're only here on loan.

Be thankful for the hours we've shared
Through happy, precious years.
Please don't forget my love for you
But DO forget the tears.

I am thinking of you all.
