Mr Sonnevil was one of my favorite teachers in all of my Bay City days. Through kindness he taught skills, methodical checklists, properties of wood and need for safety at all times. I use all of these skills daily and think of him. His influence was great and his smile always big. Every project reminds me of him. My sympathy for his family.

Mr. Sonnevil's classes at Washington School were among my favorites. Mechanical drawing was so much fun that I asked for a drawing board for Christmas long ago. When my office moved a few years ago, I drew the plans for the new space on it. Many times when I'm working with wood I'll remember how Mr Sonnevil told us to do it. He did his job well and influenced many young men. Bravo for an honorable life.

Condolences to the Sonnevil family. Your father (brother, grandfather) had a significant influence on many. His guidance during my 7th and 8th grade years helped make me the engineer I am today.

My sympathy to the Sonnevil family at this time. He was my shop teacher at Washington Intermediate School MANY (1960-62) years ago. My mother was a 6th grade teacher at Washington, too.
