In reading the remarks of others written here, I can hardly expound upon their impressions and thoughts. Uncle Dick and his wife Auntie Jan often took people, even near strangers into their home while they got on their feet. They did this very thing for their nephew(me) and my wife and toddler little girl. Without this help we could never have moved to Colorado. Uncle Dick was a quiet mentor for me, he helped me find work, and treated me nearly as a son. His faith always showed through when we would have our frequent political debates. I can't praise he and Auntie Jan enough. They truly lived their faith. I can only dream of touching so many other people's lives as a force of good as Uncle Dick did those who have signed this guest book. May he rest in peace with Auntie Jan and cousin Paul, and all of the Focos, and Knacks that were anxious to be reunited with him in eternity. We will always remember you with love Uncle Dick.

He help me as a young boy by assisting me in getting my first job(age 16) with the CO. Department of Highways. I will never forget what a kind, compassionate and gentle man he was. May he rest in eternal peace with his wife and oldest son.
