What a great guy to play for great coach unique teacher and huge personality. I had a blast playing summer league basketball that he worked his butt off to make happen. Because his win /loss record wasn't great he was underestimated as a basketball coach. Believe me he could motivate players and coach the game.you don't compete for championships in the Saginaw valley league with just some talent. Rip meech! Jim Thompson class of 1972

Bob Meeth was a great basketball and football coach. He was the kind of guy that made you want to play your heart out for him. I regret that I never wrote him or tried to let him know how much I thought of him. I was in the class of 1966.

My deepest sympathy to the Meeth family. Like many others I had him for history at Central. He was the most entertaining teacher I had in my four years there. I can still remembering him saying, "Now be sure you know it..." and everyone scrambling to write down the tidbits of wisdom that would be on the test. Best teacher ever! He will be very missed.

Bob Meeth was an energetic teacher and coach. He was such a welcomed addition to the BCC staff. Fortunately for me he was my varsity basketball coach for three years, coming here from South Lyon. Even though we disagreed politically, I admired his enthusiasm for the classroom and the basketball court.
I can still visualize Mr. Meeth rubbing his eyes and smiling when we did well. I also can still hear him yelling " Nutts " when we performed poorly. Thank you Coach Meeth!!!
