Miss Toeppner was a great part of Cleveland School and I have many memories of her. She would point out to me that I checked out ALL of the sports books in the library, most of them several times. Somehow she encouraged me to broaden my reading horizons and it worked. Thanks for your encouragement Miss T!!! Rest in peace.

Miss Toeppner was my 5th grade teacher at McKinley elementary. That was the year that President Kennedy was assassinated, so that event and Miss Toeppner's reaction to it are permanently etched in my memories. She was a wonderful and caring educator!

Shirley was a dear friend of mine from the good old Bay City days, especially from Trinity Episcopal Church choir. She was my maid of honor 50 years ago when I married Don Stolz at Trinity Church and we have continued that friendship ever since.

May you rest in peace dear friend and keep that halo shiny!

Love and sympathy to the whole Toeppner family from Don and Marian Reddick Stolz
