I only had the opportunity to meet Bill during the wake and funeral of his sister Dorothy Lepczyk Graczyk. They were both my 1st cousin as their mother was the sister of my grandfather. Bill was charming and witty during this time. I wish I had more opportunities to get to know him. Rest in Peace Cousin Bill.

The news of Mr. Lepczyk's passing was truly sad. Yet, it reminded me again of so many good times too. Mr. and Mrs. Lepczyk had always been exceedingly kind to me and my whole family as our families grew up together in East Lansing. Beginning at St. Thomas and through the high school years at LCC, many really happy, funny and memorable experiences together.

Their kindness and friendship continued after I had moved away. On my occasional returns home, now with my wife Debbie, Mr. Lepczyk was his ever engaging self, eager to discuss the most subtle aspects of gardening with Debbie with whom he shared the Master Gardener title. He made us feel in many ways as if we were never away.

So, it is certainly sad that we have lost Mr. Lepczyk and our prayers are with his wife and family but, we choose to remember him with very happy thoughts and great thanks for having the good fortune know him.

I am so sorry for your loss. I wished that I had kept up with the family over the years. My mother (Gloria) would always speak so proudly of her brother. May all your wonderful memories help you through this difficult time.

With love and prayers, Sandy Hawley

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I so enjoyed working for Bill many, many years ago. He was a wonderful man.

Dear Lepczyk family. Your father had a special place in my heart as do you ,Dorthy. I have tried to pattern my life after lessons learned by watching you when I was a child. I love you all deeply and your are always in my thoughts and prayers.
