I am a distant cousin of Grahams. I spent many summers as a child in the Mount staying and his parent's beach house. They were John and Nancy Hare. I just looked up his name to see if I could track him down again and I was so sad to see this. My mother and I send our heart felt condolences. Myra and Angie Davis.

Those New Year's Eve parties at Graham's house(Mount/Papamoa) were legendary -always enjoyed getting the written invites!! The Hare's were also old family friends with mine. Last spoke to him at Transplant ward 2011-( my partner was unfortunately in ward) Graham was attending same meeting as I was. My thoughts to John and Hetty

So shocked and saddened to hear of Buzzer's passing. Fondest memories of his effortless, powerful, smooth swimming and running, his toothy smile. Essence of Tauranga. My condolences to his family.

I went to school with Graham, both primary and intermediate in Tauranga. He was called Buzzer because he was a super-fast athlete and swimmer. His close friendship at school with Russell Bartlett was a strong one. But mostly I remember his wry sense of humour and his magnanimous generosity; his Xmas parties were legendary. My deep sympathy to everyone in his families/whanau, this is a painful violent loss of a special man and human being. Kind wishes, Sharon Summers

So many memories over 55 years of friendship. They broke the mould with Buzz. W.A. seems a long way away right now - will be thinking of you all tomorrow especially. Love to Rose, John, Hettie, Lauren, Luci, and families. We trust you to send him off appropriately! Russ and Jan, and the Burne Girls.
