I have fond memories of "Mean Gene the Driving Machine!" I am very sorry to hear of his passing, he was one of the kindest men I've ever met, and reminded me greatly of my own grandfather who also drove a bus. I enjoyed seeing him at shrine events and appreciated his kind smile and hello every time that he would see me. My thoughts and prayers are with the Amnott family.

Elaine and family,
I am most sorry to know that Gene has traveled on, but, having traveled to Quebec City and back with him and a busful of SAD42 students many times in past years, I know he'll be traveling safely and watching out over all the rest of us.

My Mom was Shirley Lynds Lenentine, step-sister to Gene. She and my Dad always enjoyed a nice friendship with Gene and Elaine. They always spoke so kindly of Gene, saying what a great person he was. Condolences to Elaine and the family. Sandra Lenentine Roy
