Bill will always be remembered for his amazing stories about history, his admiration of JFK, his knowledge of Elvis and his love for his dog, Sandy. I am sure he will be missed by many, as he will be missed by me. Condolences to his family.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Bill's unexpected and sudden passing. He never stopped paying attention to what was happening around him, and, more importantly, never stopped caring about, and trying to, make a difference. His love of country, friends, and animals was fierce-- and his anger over oppression and injustice was righteous. His voice and positive energy will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Rest in Peace Bill - I enjoyed our chats about my home country of England and was always amazed at your breadth of knowledge. Sincere condolences to the family.

Colleen, my heart goes out to you at this time. Bill dedicated his life to his country, his passion for animals and making the world around him a better place. He will be missed by not only the community but on the Board of Directors at the Central Aroostook Humane Society! Take care and know that you are in all of our thoughts and prayers.

Colleen, so sorry to hear about Bill. He was a quiet man who always looked for the best in the world. He loved animals and we often talked about the treatment of some dogs in Aroostook County. I'll miss seeing him around and hearing how he hoped to make the animal world a better place. Hope he does! You go Bill!!

Colleen, I am so sorry for your loss of Bill. My heart breaks for you. He had such a kind and pleasant mannerism; and so friendly and thoughtful. I will remember him for so many things but I love how he ALWAYS asked about our horse Sierra who after the first time he became so enchanted with. He truly loved animals, and had such a huge heart for them. I will remember him as a true proud American patriot, his admiration for JFK, how much he adored you Colleen and most of all for his kindness. Our little community has lost such a good person. You are in my thoughts and prayers Colleen.

I'll always remember Bill as a fascinating conversationalist and someone deeply committed to learning everything he could about history, politics and people. He was an honest and cheerful man who cared deeply for this world. I will miss our too infrequent but engaging discussions.
