Vit's obituary speaks of a man who lived a full and productive life. He certainly marched to a different drummer and was often on the other side of an argument. Vits and I were regularly at odds but I respected him and being a Marine and Viet Nam veteran, I gave him grief about the Army. But, Vits was Special Forces, and that's a group that stands with the best. Because of guys like him, America is a safer place to live. Semper Fidelis Major, and the rest of us will join you in due time.
