Richard Burford, 56, of Lumberton, died Saturday, December 22, 2012. A native and lifelong resident of the Beaumont area, he was born on February 11, 1956, to Carol Bruce Burford and William Burford. Richard was a metal fabricator with Fabricon International, Inc., Beaumont. He is survived by his parents, Carol and Willie Burford of Beaumont; sons, William Burford and Emory Burford, both of Lumberton; brother, Dale Burford and his wife, Sherry, of Evadale; sister, Susan Underwood and her husband, Keith, of Fannett; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends. A gathering of Mr. Burford's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Hayman Cemetery, FM 2025, Coldspring. Complete and updated information may be found www.broussards1889.com
