Virginia was related to us through Castillo side of family. Her father, Maurillio Solis was a brother to Guadalupe Solis Castillo, our grandmother. I had the pleasure of not only meeting Virginia this past March of 2015, I also met her brothers, Manuel and John. I had been keeping in touch with Virginia's sister, Olivia, for a number of years. She was an amazing story teller with such beautiful memories of her childhood and even remembered the tragic death of our sister Irene in Clay, Texas. The Virginia I met was so sweet, seemed to be such a gentle soul. My deepest condolences to all her family. May she rest in peace.

Virginia Lopez was a very sweet, caring, and loving soul. She is someone I will remember for ever and hold dear in my heart. She was my God Mother and she always showed me love. I just wished I would have been able to go visit her more as I got older but her and my God Father always made their visit to my granny's home where I would always get to see them and it was always a pleasure. She will truly be missed and forever in our hearts...
From your God Daughter Melinda Lee Segeada (Segura) & on behalf of your God Son Andrew Demetruis Maleno (Drew) who sends his love and condolences to the family too. God Bless!
