We have all been blessed by having known Uncle Tony. Tony was the guy you wanted by your side if you were down & out. He would give you that pick-me-up you needed by just telling one or two of his famous stories. My best memory of Uncle Tony is the 4th of July parties he & Aunt Evelyn, the love of his life who he lost too soon, would throw at their lovely home in Fairview Heights for friends & relatives. Those were good times!! Thanks for the memories, Uncle Tony; you will be greatly missed.

Sending our sympathy and prayers to the whole Pawlow family. Tony and our Dad - They both knew a lot of East St. Louis history and had been friends for many years. Thank you Tony for all those years of friendship with our Dad! God rest you. Enjoy Heaven with all your pals from East St. Louis....

Tony Pawlow loved people and people loved Tony Pawlow. Tony never met a stranger and meeting new people always gave him a reason to tell a few of his famous stories. I feel fortunate to have known Tony. We will miss you buddy. RIP.

We met Tony at Thanksgiving dinners that he attended with Fran and Dick Pawlow and found him to be a delightful storyteller who could always produce a flood of laughter with his tales. May he rest in peace. Alex and Barb Sudholt
