I am so sorry to hear that Carolyn has passed. I had lost track of her and didn't get any information until I saw her death notice on Ancestry.com.
We were close as small children as cousins should be.
I send my deepest condolences to the family. Carolyn's parents were my aunt and uncle. I would love hearing from the family.

she will be missed by all of her students from years past

Mrs. Agne went out of her way to teach and inspire me during my time at Central Junior High in the early 1980s. One time she even brought in architectural plans her husband was working on. They were for a palace being built in the Middle East for a wealthy prince. I spent that entire evening poring over them. What a treat! Although I never became an architect, my eventual decision to work in advertising and design was influenced by her faith in my abilities. I regret that I never met up with Mrs. Agne to thank her in person (I would have loved to hear about her days at D'Arcy). But maybe this remembrance is some small solace to her family and friends.

James and John, Your mother was a beautiful woman inside and out. She will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers to the Agne family. She was my art teacher at CJHS and I remember her long bouncy hair, her pretty smile and her stylish dress. Rest now Miss Pilcher!
