Dearest Grandma, Merry Christmas to you,we can not believe it has been our fourth Christmas without you.It seems as though it was just last year we would wake up Christmas morning being Blessed that you were here, spending the Holidays with us.You know how very hard it has been for us with the Lord bringing our Son home to be with you and the rest of his family up there in that magical land. But we know he is at peace, just as you are. Take care of him for us. Please watch over us and keep prayers opened for us.We love you Grandma and miss you each and every day. But know you are always with us every step of the way. Wish us a happier and healthier New Year would you.Sending all the love in our hearts to you. Love Forever,Gary Chris & Niccole Jean

Grandma,it's been 2 years & 5 days now that you were taken home to be with the Lord.Knowing you watch over us,you know we have had a rough year. The Lord taking our Son has been very hard for us,but we know he is now with his family in Heaven. Our memories of both of you are treasures in our hearts,we carry them where ever we go.They are stored in bits & pieces, parts of a Beautiful Whole. They give us comfort when we feel all alone. We miss you so much and pray Gary Dayle is standing right with you.

UNCLE GARY,AUNT CHRIS,NIKKI AND REST OF SCHLICHTER FAMILY,
I KNOW PERSONALLY WHAT IT IS LIKE TO LOOSE A SPECIAL GRANDPARENT. I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT IT GETS EASIER AS TIME GOES BY. TRUE THE HURT NEVER GOES AWAY BUT JUST REMEMBER THAT YOU ALL WILL SEE HER AGAIN ONE DAY AND RE-UNITE AND SHE IS IN A MUCH BETTER PLACE NOW. WE ARE GLAD TO HAVE HAD THE CHANCE TO MEET HER AND SHARE GREAT MEMORIES WITH ALL OF YOU TOGETHER. WE LOVE YOU ALL VERY MUCH AND ARE WITH YOU IN THIS HARD TIME IN THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.

To the family of this wonderful lady: May you find comfort in your hour of sorrow and look forward to the time when we will all be together again in Christ Jesus our living Lord and Saviour. It was my priviledge to know this dear lady for more than fifty years. She and Vernon remained loving friends to my mother and dad all their days. I remember being at the farm in the 1950's, stayed over night with Dale and took a wild ride on his motorcycle, drank instant chocolate milk with lunch and bountiful supper in their home, toured the vast spread of land that Vernon and his parents labored over, cultured and loved. All my memories of this family are wonderful. From those days, to the wedding of Dale and the beautiful Zabelle, Catherine's happiness of being a Grandmother, the sorrowful loss of Dale and the devastating loss of Vernon. Through it all Mrs. Catherine Schlicter remained a gracious and wonderful lady. She will be will be sadly missed by those of us who remain. God bless her precious soul.
