Darlene Hoepfinger
Darlene K. Hoepfinger, 70, of Caseyville, Ill., born July 21, 1945, in Belleville, Ill., passed away July 2, 2016, at Caseyville Nursing and Rehab in Caseyville, Ill.
Darlene was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, and was active with the Sister Cities of Columbia, Ill. She had served as the treasurer of the Robert F. Holden Scholarship Fund.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon A. and Helen, nee Pearson, Hoepfinger; her aunts, Mildred Brewster, Bernice Bieller, and Viola Fauerbach; and an uncle, Harold Hoepfinger.
Surviving are her aunt, Carolyn (Omar) Harris Jr., of Columbia, Ill.; along with other relatives and many friends.
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to St. Paul United Church of Christ, Building a Bridge to the Future Fund, 127 N. Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Lawlor Funeral Home, Columbia, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016, at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Goddard officiating. Interment will follow in the Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery, Columbia, Ill.

I worked with Darlene at Frank B. Hall in St. Louis. She was always upbeat and cheerful. My sympathy to the Hoepfinger Family. She will be missed.

Very nice lady. I will always remember her from our first Mardi Gras in 1980,she was dressed as Mother Nature and passing paper Butterflies to everybody,so for the rest of time she was always Mother Nature.RIP, LMS
