My deepest condolences to Mabel, Michelle, and family on Eddie's passing. It was truly a joy growing up next door to Eddie and being the same age. He has left me with many wonderful memories full of fun and laughter. I will always remember the summer he taught me how to spit thru my teeth. I was so proud. Eddie was the big brother to my younger brother, Wally, who was stuck with 3 sisters.

Eddie always knew you, took time to talk with you, share a smile and a laugh, and offer his help if you needed it.

He was one of our unsung heroes, serving his country proudly in Viet Nam. I prayed every day for his safe return from Nam and thank God for answering my prayers.

Eddie was a devoted son, who took wonderful loving care of his aging parents. He was also a very proud uncle who loved his nieces dearly. We always talked about how much we enjoyed being an aunt and uncle, neither of us having ever had children ourselves.

I will miss Eddie. He has been a part of my family my whole life, for which I am so very thankful. Eddie just made life better.

God Bless you, Eddie, and may you enjoy the music of Heaven now. You have earned your place with the Lord.
