Elizabeth Kaemper
Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Kaemper, nee Smith, 70, of Belleville, Ill., born Jan. 24, 1943, in East Saint Louis, Ill., died Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Elizabeth was a retired elementary school teacher for the Freeburg Grade School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in O'Fallon Ill., and the Illinois Teacher Association .
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Chester and Opal A., nee Eudy, Smith; and sister, Ruth Stoldt.
Surviving are her husband, Gary Warren Kaemper; daughter, Lori Lane (Gary) Landoll of O Fallon, Ill.; son, Lee Wayne (Laura) Kaemper of Sedalia, Mo.; brother, James H. Smith of Lawrenceville, Ill.; sisters, Dolly Heath of Dupo, Ill., Cathy (Jim) Carter of Lebanon, Ill., Marsha (Richard) Lardie of Dupo, Ill., and Robin (Randy) Breckenridge of Dupo, Ill.; grandchildren, Aleksey Kaemper, Michael Landoll, Christopher Landoll, Emily Landoll and Rachel Landoll; sister-in-law, Carol (Pat) Patterson; brother-in-law, Carl Stoldt; dear nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made payable to the First Baptist Church, O'Fallon, Ill. Donations collected will be split between the building funds for the First Baptist Church in O'Fallon and the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church of East St. Louis, Ill. Visitation: Friends may call from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at First Baptist Church in O'Fallon, Ill.
Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at First Baptist Church in O'Fallon, Ill., with the Rev. Skip Leininger, the Rev. Gerry Claybrook and the Rev. Doug Munton officiating. A private family interment will be held.

Gary and family we were so sad to hear the news of Libby's passing. I have such wonderful memories of Libby and your entire family. We good people touch your life you never forget them no matter how long you are out of touch! Praying especially for Gary, Lori, Lee and children. You always had a smile and a hug waiting for me. I remember how as children we would play in your "backyard" and always had Christmas at your house and it felt like home. I love you, Aunt Libby and you will be missed.

We will always treasure the many memories we've made over the years. Some good times, some not so good. Always a blessing to have friends so close that we could share our hearts with. Libby will certainly be missed. Gary please know we hurt with you and will always be available for you.
