You are such a special guy and I miss you so much. I can't wait to see you in heaven some day, Thank you for visiting me at church and in my dreams. I'm glad you are well and you make one great angel, even when you were still with us all. I miss our late night talks, your smile, and just you in general. Aloha my brother, miss you and love you always.
I'm bad with words at times. It's always the important times where I can never find the right words to say. I've been staring at this page since the day after you death trying to gather up anything. A "I offer my sincere condolences" or "I remember that one time..." , but nothing that felt right came to mind.
You were someone who was special. Your heart was always in the right place even if you made a few mistakes in your life. You weren't a saint, but you were a human which is what I loved about you. A great friend who supported those around you and always willing to give out a few good laughs to those around you.
You once told me that you felt like glass, something that people could see through and that you weren't special at all. Well, you know what. You are special. Truly, you are.
Right now, you're a shining star. You're missed by all and to all those who have been touched by David in some way as well, my sincerest condolences.
You will be missed-My prayers go out to your family.
My family & I offer our heartfelt condolences. May the God of all comfort be with you all during this time of grief. (2 Cor 1:3)
David, I did your Orientation at Cracker Barrel. You made the class a fun one. You were talkative and funny and what a huge smile. You were so excited about getting the house. I missed seeing you when you went to Night Maintenance. My son is 23, couldn't imagine losing him. You will be greatly missed. So glad I got to know you. May God bless you and keep you and be with your family..
Javier, Alyssa & I were so blessed to be able to spend time with David on our visit a couple of years ago. He was so happy to take us sightseeing and show us alot of cool places! I will never forget his kind heart and love for family. David you will be dearly missed!
It's hard to believe that such a wonderful individual was taken so soon in life .... You had such an innocence and kindness that was rare. I will cherish the times you called for advice when times were tough, and feel blessed to call you my cousin. Forever in our hearts... Love Rachel , Eliana & Emilee

I met you through Kara and though we rarely got together you always treated me like we knew each other for ever. Until I see you again my friend.
We are sorry to hear about the loss of David. Our prayers go out to the Douthitt family as they go through this painful time.
All I have to say is, he was always a happy spirit around everyone!! :) RIPeace
You were one of my best friends. I talked to you almost every day. You were the one I always went to when I needed someone to talk to. It is so hard to believe I just saw you last week and now you are gone. Rest in peace
You always were there for me at job corps. Aways tried to cheer me up when I was down. But you would always find sissy and me when you were down so we could cheer you up. You were an awsome man you will be missed.
Dearest David Douthitt,
I can't help but think about every moment we had shared.
My favorite is you used to come over to my house and sing Karaoke with me and Pops back in 2001-2003.
Good times :)
...or most recently, the nights, I'd come back to Dad's and randomly find you sitting on the porch, just waiting cause you wanted to say hi.
You used to come do gigs with us. remember?? and Pops aka Daniel Degracia would introduce you as "the adopted son without the papers". :)
...I still have that blue bunny you gave me back in 2001, it was really sweet of you.
I wish we hung out more...
... I wish I called more... talked more.
Did you know the last time we talked was March 9th...and it was just random cause i was on facebook and you were on facebook. and of course it wasn't "hi" or "sup" it was "hi beautiful" like it's always been since 6th grade. :)
I've lost friends and family before, but none quite like you.
I will always love you...you were always so kind to me...and I will never forget it.
You were one awesome guy!!! No matter what was going on at work, you made me laugh. I always looked forward to our silly talks. Man Im gonna miss you my dude!!!!!! Your forever gonna be our "Hawaii 5-0" Rest in Peace David, until we meet again.
You were such a welcome to our store. Helpful, friendly, respectful and full of knowledge of the industry.
