Donald Byrd, thank you for so many times you comforted me, rocked me, and soothed me through the 70's from the Main Point in Bryn Mawr, PA to Copley Square, you gave your audiences your all. You taught a generation of baby boomers how to maximize the gifts we were given. You sir were a legend and when St. Peter is filling that 1st Trumpet chair, you have got to be one of the first sit there. From Places and Spaces to Flight Time to Dominoes, you were awesome, never to be forgotten
