Ms. Thomas may have pushed the envelope, but she was well-respected in her field and widely regarded by readers & followers as one of our countries best journalist ever. I applaud her for pushing that envelope, for being brave and courageous and going after our leaders for the truth our American public deserved. I attended an appearance of hers while in college and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. May her family & friends be at peace knowing Ms. Thomas has found her peace. Rest in peace, Ms. Thomas & thank you much for all the great presidential press conference memories & lessons along the way. There will never be another you! Connie S. Koch, Oregon, Ohio

Helen enjoyed the right of Americans to have a voice, and, yes, did. We may not always agree with her, but her voice had us spar over her voicings. She had a good nature, was an intelligent, remarkable, independent, unafraid, woman since the 1940's plying her beat. SEVEN DECADES; had to retreat only with years catching-her-up and a White House Press Front catching-up too with opportunity as she gave unmeasured voice to ideas of the Israel-Palestine dilemma. However, women and men of thought and words would do well to see her as a mentor in these times; push the envelope if "the feed" does not fit the stats. Her imagination and journalist smarts questioned the promotion of an UNACCEPTABLE Public Relations of All and Any topic Helen found wanting, and she VOICED IT. In accord with you or no, CHEERS for a great work ethic Helen, cheers! Sometimes fan, and admirer always of your spunk to DISCOVER. Stir-it-up where you go, & go well to that new venue, Helen. ginn hart,Jersey Girl,At.Hlds.
