Our deepest sympathy to Joe's wife and children and all of his family. We feel great sorrow to learn about his loss. Though we have been away from the Lebanon area for many years and haven't seen Joe since he was high school and college age, we remember him with great fondness. He was in school with our daughters, and he spent a lot of time in our home. We remember him as outgoing, kind, good-natured, and fun. And he always had a great smile and a twinkle in his eye. He was a fine young man then, and when we read about all his accomplishments and how he was admired and respected, we know that he was truly one of the good guys. Our heartfelt condolences and prayers for his family. May you rest in peace, Joe.

Joe certainly did not need the title of judge in order to be called Honorable. He was a true Man of Honor. My life is better because I knew Joe. In rememberance of Joe, I will try to live each day with a beaming smile and a true joy for life!!

I'd like to extend my deepest condolences to the Christ family. My memories of Joe stem from high school – I remember a unique combination of self-confidence without arrogance, strength without intimidation, and charm without self-absorption. He was a great role model and an ideal person for a younger classmate to look up to.

Judge Christ was one of the finest men I've ever known. He was an inspiration to all those who knew him. His spirit was always so kind and gentle. His soul was pure. Joe loved and respected his wife and children more than anything in the world. Joe changed lives. He made a difference. The world has lost a great one today. May God watch over his entire family and friends.

It was with deep, deep sorrow that I heard of Joe's passing. Although I haven't had contact with him for a long time, it is clear to me that he went on to have a very rich and full life with a family to whom he was devoted and by whom he was deeply loved and a career that touched and helped many. All of my sympathies go out to his family. Rest in peace, Joe. You will be missed.

My deepest sympathy for Joe's wife and children as well as the rest of Joe's family. I never met a finer man. He didn't have to say he was a devoted family man or he was devoted in his faith, because when you were around Joe you just knew, you could see it. Joe gave so much to this world just by being here. When it was Joe's turn to observe at the CAC, he always contributed so much to the interview process as a team member. Joe touched so many lives, many more than he himself would have known. This world will be a little sadder place without Joe in it and I feel honored to have known him.

Joe was always so kind and patient to me at the courthouse and during my recent campaign. I was so happy when he became a judge and have no doubt he would have been wonderful. It is a great loss for his family, friends and the legal community. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I worked with Joe for all eighteen of his years at the SA Office. We were born only four days apart. He was a fun to work. You learn allot about a person when you work with them. Joe was one a many Christ children. He would often talk about his siblings. Growing up in that large family obviously made him the wonderful person he became. He loved his entire family deeply. He adored his wife and children. He was so proud of each one of them. He had a great insight into people, great wit, a quick witted sense of humor that will be missed. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to his mother and siblings and other extended family. And to Terri and his children I will hold you my heart and keep you in my prayers for as long as I live. I believe Joe will be watching over all of you from hereafter with all the love he has in his heart.

Do not know the family = Joe was going to play with me and my brother John in the Benedictine Golf Tournery. I have never met a better man who believed that family and his catholic religion was more important to him. As a friend I never met a more faithful person, his premature passing has left a hoel in my soul that will not soon heal, please accept my sympathies for a man I may never forget - please for me and my wife prayers and sympathies - a great and honorable man - RIP

Remembering Joe from the years in Traffic & Misdemeanor Court, SCC fund raisers, & many good times. Joe you will be dearly missed and always remembered!

If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
We'd express all our unspoken love;
We'd have countless things to say.
If we could bring you back again,
We'd say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.
If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
You'd know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would.

Sincere condolences to Joe's wife, children, family, & friends.
