My condolences to Johns family. Only met John few times but remember first comment to me was asking what nationality my family was! Sat by the bonfire one night listening to his stories. Boy did he have some! Leilah, hope good memories outlast the pain of loss.

I only saw John once at a breakfast get together and took a liking to him! then read a few weeks ago that he was recuperating at a facility here in Granite. I called him and we spoke for some time and he was looking forward to go back to his apartment but moving to the first floor. Wont forget you John! Sympathy and prayers go to his family!!

To John's family and friends I send my deepest sympathies and those of other classmates from the class of 64. John came to many of our reunions and parties and always offered to help. He came to the Moose once a month with us for fish and breakfasts at the Golden Corral, not counting the many times a smaller group of us went to lunch or an early supper together. He brought us chocolate covered cherries for Christmas, helped us clear plates after dinners at the Moose, told us jokes and stories (sometimes loooong stories and slightly off color jokes)and shared with us his adventures to Europe to visit his relatives whom he loved dearly. He asked us to pray for him and we sent him greeting cards to let him know we were thinking about him. Oh John, I will miss you. You always kept me up to date on what was going on in the BND. May God's angels attend you and may he pour out his love and peace on those you left behind, filling the empty spaces left in their hearts with fond memories of better times. RIP

Death is inevitable, but often unexpected.

I'll miss you, John.
