I have had the great honor of getting to know skip and gale. I have been cleaning their house for a while and I have enjoyed my conversations with skip every Thursday. Skip you will be greatly missed. Skip was always so kind to me. Always had very nice things to say. Please lord keep gale safe and help her with the loss of her beloved husband. Also would like to tell skip and gales children I'm so sorry for your loss. RIP skip my friend.

I am sorry about the passing of an old friend. I was a very good friend of Skip and Carol when we were teen agers and the Stites family were some of the nicest people I ever met. I was happy when she married Skip because Carol deserved the best and Skip fit that roll. My sympathy to his family. From an old friend. Dale Hayden , Mount Dora Fl.

I am always sad to hear of the passing of a former East St Louisan, especially a veteran. I was born in East St Louis in 1933 and served with the US Army in Korea.
