Nancy Simmonds
Nancy Jean Simmonds, 73, of Millstadt, Ill., born Oct. 26, 1939, in Belleville, Ill., passed away Tuesday June 4, 2013, at Memorial Convalescent Center in Belleville, Ill.
Nancy was a member of Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, Ill. and the Women of the Moose Lodge Chapter 53.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Floy, nee Kennedy, Simmonds Sr.; her sister, Rosemary Maserang; and her brother, Ralph Simmonds Jr.
Nancy is survived by her brother, Kenneth (Pat) Simmonds; her sisters, Barbara (Bill) Heil, Carol (Frank) Albers and Patty Dillon; her brother-in-law, William Maserang, her nieces and nephews, Daniel Maserang, Julie Acker, Tom Simmonds, Ginette Kern, Gary Simmonds, Larry Simmonds, Eric Ude, Dana Reno, Darren Ude, Angela Murrell, Pamela Case and Kelly Miller; her dear friends, Karen Peters and Sandy Weber. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the care givers at Memorial Convalescent Center.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, at Zion Evangelical Church, 117 W. White St., Millstadt, Ill.
Funeral: Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, at Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, Ill., with the Rev. Darrell Weber, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt, Ill.

I was a co worker and friend to Nancy. We worked at the telephone company together for 23 yrs. A very very wonderful person. So sorry to hear of her passing, her memories will forever be in my heart. I ask for blessing for the family during this time.
